This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the vehicle-level testing strategy for L4 autonomous trucks.
• Develop test cases to validate requirements on both closed circuits and public roadways.
• Analyze vehicle data from ground truth and onboard systems to evaluate performance.
• Lead a team of test engineers focused on the creation and reporting of vehicle-level test cases.
• Define and execute vehicle testing strategies in compliance with applicable safety standards, including ISO 26262 and ISO 21448.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, and test operations to set verification and validation priorities.
• Ensure that requirements are verifiable.
• Implement scenario-based testing to enhance coverage across the operational design domain.
• Foster ongoing improvements in vehicle testing platforms and toolsets.
• Oversee test budgets, timelines, and resource distribution across various vehicle projects.
• Prioritize testing based on upstream test outcomes to mitigate risks.
• Report test status, risks, and suggestions to leadership.
• Represent the vehicle testing organization during program reviews, safety case evaluations, and regulatory or customer audits.
• Coordinate the qualification processes for software tools and keep abreast of emerging V&V technologies in autonomous driving.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline with over 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing vehicle-level testing for safety-critical products.
• Proven leadership experience in building and nurturing technical teams.
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and security standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or similar).
• Experience with scenario-based verification and validation methodologies for autonomous systems.
• Background in industry-standard certification testing, such as EuroNCAP.
• Strong analytical and data-oriented problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in processing vehicle data collected via ground truth equipment, including high-precision GNSS/INS and LiDAR reference systems, utilized in ADAS/AV testing.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with cross-functional stakeholders.
