This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Increase sales and market share within a designated territory by promoting, selling, and supporting Vascular products.
• Establish new accounts and encourage the adoption of DCB, Atherectomy, and the complete peripheral vascular product portfolio for PAD.
• Oversee territory organization, planning, administration, expenses, and performance targets.
• Educate medical personnel on products and procedures.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue, market share, and account development goals.
• Broaden existing and prospective accounts through portfolio selling and in-depth account engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, administrators, and healthcare stakeholders through consultative selling, presentations, and clinical discussions.
• Persuade and finalize opportunities through value-based selling, contract optimization, addressing objections, and collaborating across functions.
• Generate leads, discover new business opportunities, represent Medtronic at conferences and customer events, and distinguish solutions from competitors.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to plan procedures, manage case expectations, provide clinical support, and enhance patient outcomes.
• Supervise account coverage, market intelligence, expenses, and uphold regulatory, quality, financial, and compliance standards.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining expertise in products, reimbursement, clinical applications, and industry developments.
• Execute responsibilities that may involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ensure safety in clinical settings that require personal protective equipment and may involve exposure to infectious diseases or radiation.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12+ years of experience, OR an associate's degree with 10+ years, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Candidates must reside within the designated Sacramento/Reno territory.
• Possess a valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Availability to work standard business hours, with the possibility of additional evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
• 8+ years of B2B or Healthcare Sales experience, including 6 years of selling medical devices or medical capital equipment.
• Knowledge and experience regarding operating room, hospital, and physician office protocols and conduct.
• Capability to teach and instruct medical personnel, peers, and technical support staff.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
