Vascular Access Dispatcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Engage with and support the technology team.

• Communicate case details to mobile Vascular Nurses in the field.

• Collaborate with representatives at regional accounts.

• Dispatch cases to the tech team while delivering customer service to accounts.

• Guide field nurses to ensure studies are completed promptly.

• Manage approximately 90–130 calls daily.

• Allocate nurses to the appropriate general areas and facilities per the schedule.

• Page nurses for STAT, ASAP, and PRIORITY cases.

• Leave voicemails for nurses regarding 4-hour and 2-hour STAT turnaround times.

• Communicate and report issues to the House Supervisor and Field Supervisor.

• Notify clients about any delays in arrival or readings.

• Assist nurses with directions, case types, and client information.

• Participate in cross-training for the Customer Service role.

• Answer incoming calls within three rings.

• Support overflow client orders.

• Assign STAT cases within ten minutes of them appearing on the screen.

• Assign regular calls within fifteen minutes of them appearing on the screen.

• Diligently dispatch all calls to technicians by paging twice.

• Monitor activity in assigned and other dispatch areas.

• Must live within 50 miles of the Columbus, OH office located at 2550 Corporate Exchange Drive, 43231.

• Familiarity with customer service strategies.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology is advantageous but not mandatory.

• High school diploma or GED; or one year of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience equivalent.
