Valuation & Advisory Property Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive property research utilizing public records, MLS databases, tax assessor websites, and other pertinent resources.

• Examine property features, zoning details, sales history, market trends, and elements affecting property valuation.

• Collect and organize data related to comparable properties, market conditions, and valuations.

• Summarize research outcomes for appraisers.

• Accurately and thoroughly input researched data into appraisal software.

• Assist appraisers in formatting and structuring reports in accordance with company guidelines.

• Prepare up-to-date market reports as required.

• Keep track of local real estate market trends and regulatory developments.

• Analyze market changes and communicate findings to senior appraisers.

• Collaborate with appraisers to gather, document, and supply necessary property information.

• Maintain property files, research notes, and databases.

• Review data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, addressing any discrepancies.

• Engage with clients, property owners, or other stakeholders when necessary to obtain additional information or clarification.

• Execute other duties, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in an industry-related field.

• At least 1+ year of experience in real estate research and/or market analysis is required.

• Experience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecasting.

• Proficient in data software applications.

• Strong skills in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel).

• Proven ability to work independently to achieve goals and objectives.

• Effective listening and critical thinking abilities.

• Proficient in communication (both oral and written).
