Senior Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research initiatives utilizing the internet as the main tool, focusing on markets, products, companies, funding activities, competitive landscapes, individuals, technologies, and regulations.

• Transform disorganized findings into structured matrices, comparison tables, briefs, landscape maps, and one-pagers.

• Formulate well-informed perspectives, discern key issues and uncertainties, and propose actionable next steps.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance and expand research capabilities.

• Create lightweight tools, scrapers, or trackers as necessary.

• Manage multiple unrelated requests and adjust priorities as needed.

• Collaborate directly with a highly skilled leader and team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Inquisitive, sharp, and capable of reasoning through unfamiliar questions.

• Proficient in using AI tools such as Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Hugging Face.

• Ideally able to write code for working scripts or prototypes without relying on an engineer.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.

• Self-motivated and open to coaching.

• Possess a startup-oriented mindset.

• Excellent writing skills.

• Remote work is acceptable within the US, with a considerable amount of travel to Los Angeles.
