Temporary Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Support the Executive Director by conducting research, analysis, and writing on policy matters concerning the information ecosystem.

• Execute research and policy analysis tasks.

• Spearhead initiatives that lead to the creation of think tank publications and other white papers.

• Investigate subjects such as synthetic content policy, the impact of LLMs on the information ecosystem, pro-democracy messaging, funding for social sciences, and associated policy matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory.

• A strong aptitude for reading and comprehending quantitative social science or computational research.

• Exceptional written communication skills are essential.

• Experience in research synthesis, literature reviews, or drafting policy briefs is required.

• A demonstrated passion for democracy, media, information integrity, technology policy, or similar fields is preferred.
