Research Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct open-ended research projects utilizing the internet as the main resource.

• Investigate markets, products, companies, funding activities, competitive landscapes, individuals, technologies, and regulations.

• Transform disorganized findings into matrices, comparison tables, briefs, landscape maps, and concise summaries.

• Formulate well-informed perspectives and pinpoint key uncertainties and subsequent actions.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance research efficiency and scope.

• Create lightweight tools, scrapers, or trackers as necessary.

• Handle multiple unrelated requests and adjust priorities as situations evolve.

• Collaborate directly with a highly skilled leader and team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Strong internship experience may be considered for recent graduates.

• Inquisitive and capable of reasoning through unfamiliar questions.

• Proficient in the use of AI tools, including Claude and Cowork, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Hugging Face.

• Ability to create working scripts or prototypes with code.

• Comfortable with ambiguity.

• Self-motivated and open to coaching.

• Startup-oriented mindset.

• Excellent writing abilities.

• Capacity to present research findings in a single page or less.
