UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Participate in early product discussions to help define challenges prior to the design phase.

• Transform open-ended questions into production-ready designs.

• Create user flows that facilitate communication between individuals and businesses.

• Focus on key areas such as onboarding, user profiles, discovery features, paywalls, and other essential product elements.

• Address critical states, edge cases, and handoff details while remaining engaged during the implementation phase.

• Enhance the existing UI kit and ensure consistency in design patterns across various products.

• Aim to increase the proportion of design work that can transition to production without requiring additional revisions.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and the current designer across all Intch products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong skills in UI design with a portfolio showcasing clear and thoughtful interfaces.

• Significant experience with web products, as web is the primary platform for Intch.

• Capability to articulate design decisions based on user context rather than personal preference.

• Willingness to consider evidence and the confidence to adjust your stance when presented with a stronger argument.

• Proven experience in managing design projects from ambiguous problems through to launch.

• Ability to work independently in a small product-focused company.

• Previous experience in a startup environment, whether as a founding designer or in an in-house product role, is advantageous.

• Practical understanding of AI tools.

• Familiarity with Figma handoff processes and creating clickable prototypes in Claude.

• Production code knowledge is not required.

• Proficiency in English at a B1 level.

• Fluent in Russian.
