UX & Product Designer – Customer Journey Stream

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the user experience across product areas, from defining problems to delivering production-ready solutions.

• Collaborate closely with teams in Product Management, Engineering, Data, and Business.

• Create user flows, UX concepts, and UI designs for both web and mobile platforms throughout the customer journey.

• Develop measurable hypotheses in partnership with Product Management and Data, guiding design and product decisions.

• Design and facilitate A/B tests, experiments, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives.

• Assess impact by utilizing relevant UX and business key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.

• Convert research insights into actionable product enhancements.

• Continue to advance the “Pulse” Design System using Figma and Storybook, ensuring consistency, reusability, and accessibility.

• Work in collaboration with the Frontend Guild to explore new design and prototyping methods, including AI-assisted techniques.

• Actively engage in the UX & Product Design Practice, contributing to the evolution of shared standards and workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in UX or Product Design, preferably within B2C e-commerce, digital platforms, or high-traffic products.

• Proven experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and hypothesis-driven product development.

• Strong proficiency in Figma, along with experience in Design Systems and Component Libraries, ideally Storybook.

• Background in user research, usability testing, and analytics.

• A solid understanding of user needs, digital design, and cohesive customer journeys.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.

• An independent, organized, and pragmatic approach to work.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping or design-to-code is a plus.

• Technical knowledge of components, design tokens, and modern frontend architectures is advantageous.

• Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) or low-code prototyping is a bonus.

• Experience in the retail or sports industry is a plus.
