This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Create responsive, high-quality web interfaces for Property & Casualty innovation products utilizing React, TypeScript, and contemporary CSS.
• Transform concepts and Figma designs into interactive, coded prototypes for pilots, user testing, and executive demonstrations.
• Develop and sustain a reusable component library or design system.
• Implement processes for quoting, endorsements, renewals, certificates of insurance, billing, and claims journeys.
• Design experiences for policyholders, commercial clients, producers/agents, account managers, and claims teams.
• Create conversational, assistive, and document-intake interfaces.
• Deliver results that meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards and optimize load times across various browsers and devices.
• Integrate front ends with APIs and back-end services, collaborating on data handling, security, and state management.
• Engage in research and usability sessions, propose UX enhancements, and iterate based on analytics and user feedback.
• Over 5 years of experience developing user interfaces as a UX developer, UI engineer, or front-end developer.
• At least 2 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance sector (carrier, broker, MGA, or insurtech).
• Familiarity with personal and/or commercial lines workflows.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or a comparable modern framework.
• Experience in building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.
• Strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Comfortable working with Figma and collaborating directly with designers and product managers.
• Knowledge in REST/GraphQL APIs, Git, and CI/CD workflows.
• A portfolio or code samples demonstrating shipped, user-facing projects.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, HCI, design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
