This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform intricate cybersecurity and data visualization concepts into user-friendly and accessible experiences.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to align business objectives, security context, and technical limitations into prioritized UX strategies and measurable design results.
• Structure information and navigation to enhance clarity and scalability in data-intensive interfaces.
• Create dashboard and reporting screens that promote clarity and prioritization.
• Produce and sustain high-quality, both low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and UX documentation.
• Engage in UX research and testing to confirm assumptions and refine design choices based on user insights.
• Articulate and present design ideas and reasoning to colleagues, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Take part in design reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers to maintain design quality standards.
• Assist in the advancement of SpecterOps’ design system to ensure uniformity, scalability, and accessibility across all product surfaces.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging UX technologies, and design tools to enhance design processes and outcomes.
• Over 6 years of professional UX design experience, particularly in enterprise or complex web applications.
• Demonstrated capability in designing data-rich, technical, or security-focused products.
• High proficiency in contemporary design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq).
• Experience in building, contributing to, or managing a component-based design system (e.g., Figma libraries, token systems, documented patterns).
• Comprehensive understanding of usability, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
• Experience in user research, usability testing, and data-informed design iterations.
• Strong teamwork capabilities, with a history of working in Agile development settings.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead design decisions in uncertain or rapidly changing environments with minimal guidance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for clean, well-balanced visual design.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
