UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design comprehensive user experiences for web platforms, spanning from wireframes to high-fidelity, production-ready designs.

• Develop clean, visually engaging layouts with a keen focus on hierarchy, composition, and usability.

• Generate developer-ready design files, specifications, and assets with accuracy and consistency.

• Implement UX best practices and ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG).

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers.

• Contribute to and operate within established design systems to maintain consistency across different experiences.

• Effectively communicate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders and partners.

• Integrate findings from user research, usability testing, and A/B testing into iterative design enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience with design systems and component-based design.

• Proven track record in producing web-ready and developer-friendly design assets.

• Demonstrated experience in designing web-based experiences, including hands-on production design.

• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability standards.

• Excellent visual design abilities with a meticulous eye for detail and quality.

• Capability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments.

• Proficiency in Figma.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.

• Preferred: Experience with motion design, animation, video, or tools like After Effects.

• Preferred: Experience in writing prompts for AI tools to support or enhance design workflows.

• Preferred: Familiarity with usability testing, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies.

• Preferred: Strong writing, content design, or UX copy skills.

• Preferred: Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, or Claude.
