This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Promote, sell, and showcase Greenlee and RIDGID brands of tools and equipment.
• Lead the direction, coordination, and growth of sales in the utility market through customer engagement and collaboration with local ProTools Territory Managers.
• Provide coaching and guidance to regional Territory Managers in a matrix-managed setting.
• Conduct field product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical support for end-users and distribution channel partners.
• Propel strategic sales of new products and solutions to enhance market reach and share.
• Create, present, and implement annual business plans aimed at achieving incremental sales growth.
• Develop and manage monthly and annual sales forecasts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key distributor partners and end users.
• Act as a subject matter expert for products, applications, and pricing strategies within the assigned market.
• Support regional and national organizations through training initiatives and execution of special projects.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager for the Mountain Region.
• Collaborate with the local Territory Manager's efforts in the utility market.
• Established professional relationships and technical expertise in the electrical utility market.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, or a related field; or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to operate in a matrix-managed environment, including coaching, mentoring, and providing sales support to Territory Managers.
• Strong business insight.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven success in developing, presenting, executing, and evaluating business plans.
• Demonstrated history of meeting goals and sales objectives in the Electrical Utility market.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM applications is advantageous.
• Five years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or technical support in B2B Sales within the Electrical Utility Market is preferred.
• Familiarity with distribution channels, particularly in electrical, industrial, and plumbing sectors.
• Regular computer usage is required.
• Ability to communicate via phone, mail, electronic mail, and/or in person.
• Capacity to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Willingness to wear safety glasses and safety shoes in a factory setting.
