This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead and manage a tree crew while executing designated tasks.
β’ Engage in daily communication with the General Foreman regarding all job-related matters.
β’ Execute all necessary skills required of tree trimmers with a focus on safety.
β’ Comprehend and oversee the assigned projects.
β’ Keep equipment inspection documentation up to date.
β’ Assess and maintain equipment functionality.
β’ Prepare daily reports and paperwork.
β’ Accurately complete timesheets in a timely manner.
β’ Carry out additional assigned duties and responsibilities.
β’ Serve the greater Atlanta, Augusta, and Valdosta regions.
β’ Travel as necessary.
β’ A valid driver's license is mandatory.
β’ A CDL is required; the employer may assist in acquiring a CDL license if the candidate fulfills permit, training, timing, and DOT criteria.
β’ Demonstrated experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, typically 2+ years.
β’ Certification in OSHA, Aerial Rescue, and First Aid/CPR training.
β’ Skills in leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving.
β’ Knowledge of tree identification, operation of hand/power tools, climbing/trimming techniques, and equipment maintenance.
β’ Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, lift heavy brush, and work in varying weather conditions.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Bilingual skills are a plus.
β’ Ability to push/pull materials or wood weighing over 100 lbs.
β’ Capacity to conduct strenuous repetitive tasks while walking, bending, sitting, or climbing.
β’ Must consistently use personal protective equipment.
β’ Ability to recognize job hazards, conduct job briefings, and establish drop zones.
β’ Skill in identifying tree assignments and initiating drop zones.
β’ Competence in evaluating appropriate mechanical or manual techniques for tree tasks.
β’ Completion of safety videos, First Aid and CPR Training Programs, Aerial Rescue Training Program, and Trimmer Standards.
β’ Developed climbing skills within a period of 24+ months.
