πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Lead and manage a tree crew while executing assigned tasks.

β€’ Maintain daily communication with the General Foreman regarding all job-related matters.

β€’ Execute all necessary skills of tree trimmers with a focus on safety.

β€’ Comprehend and oversee designated projects.

β€’ Keep equipment inspection documentation up to date.

β€’ Assess and maintain tools and machinery.

β€’ Submit daily reports and paperwork as required.

β€’ Accurately complete timesheets in a timely manner.

β€’ Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

β€’ Serve the areas of Evansville, Mt. Vernon, Jasper, Lynnville, Indiana, and surrounding regions, with potential travel involved.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A valid driver's license is mandatory.

β€’ CDL A or B is preferred.

β€’ Must have authorization to work in the United States.

β€’ Demonstrable experience as a trimmer/climber and bucket operator, typically 2+ years.

β€’ Training in OSHA, Aerial Rescue, and First Aid/CPR is essential.

β€’ Skills in leadership, crew coordination, training, equipment inspection, daily reporting, and problem-solving.

β€’ Knowledge of tree identification.

β€’ Proficient in operating hand and power tools.

β€’ Familiarity with climbing and trimming techniques.

β€’ Competence in equipment maintenance.

β€’ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy brush.

β€’ Capability to work under various weather conditions.

β€’ Bilingual skills are advantageous.

β€’ Capacity to push or pull brush or wood exceeding 100 lbs.

β€’ Ability to perform strenuous, repetitive tasks while walking, bending, sitting, or climbing.

β€’ Must utilize personal protective equipment daily.

β€’ Skill in identifying job hazards, conducting job briefings, and establishing drop zones.

β€’ Ability to identify tree assignments and establish drop zones accordingly.

β€’ Competence in evaluating appropriate mechanical or manual methods for tree assignments.

β€’ Completion of safety videos and First Aid/CPR training programs is required.

β€’ Completion of the Aerial Rescue Training Program is necessary.

β€’ Fulfillment of all Trimmer Standards is expected.

β€’ Developed climbing skills within a period of 24+ months.
