This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Oversee the company’s US immigration program, acting as the senior subject matter expert and primary contact point.
• Provide consulting and support for foreign nationals throughout the organization.
• Manage employment-based immigration applications, including H-1B, F-1, TN, O-1, L-1, and E-3 visas, permanent residency processes, and USCIS requests for evidence.
• Ensure timely processing of immigration renewals and extensions to avoid work authorization gaps.
• Advise employees while collaborating with attorneys, business support, HR, and other internal stakeholders.
• Present updates on immigration regulations and information to business leaders and HR personnel.
• Monitor immigration processes, analyze the root causes of escalations, and implement process improvements.
• Work with legal counsel, HR teams, and business leadership to ensure compliance with US regulations.
• Standardize immigration policies and procedures across entities and establish effective program administration.
• Create US domestic immigration processes and effectively communicate policies and procedures to stakeholders.
• Offer strategic consultation as a trusted advisor, coach, and partner.
• Develop and conduct training on immigration programs and procedures.
• Coordinate immigration-related dependencies with Payroll, Employment Law, and I-9/People Compliance teams.
• Evaluate legislative changes in the US immigration landscape and analyze their implications.
• Liaise with the Department of Homeland Security regarding FDNS audits and requests for evidence.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of substantial immigration experience in a large corporate setting within a Human Resources or Legal department.
• Experience managing a high volume of immigrant and non-immigrant matters, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and LPR (Green Card) processes, including PERM Labor Certification.
• In-depth knowledge of US employment-based immigration.
• Capability to identify potential visa options to support various business units.
• Understanding of government affairs, legal frameworks, and policy-making principles.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality control.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
• Skilled in handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Good judgment in reviewing policy exception requests.
• Tactful when engaging with associates, managers, and HR colleagues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
