Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete program delivery across both technical and business sectors.

• Ensure compliance with the defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

• Confirm that contractual requirements and service-level agreements are fulfilled.

• Identify and mitigate delivery-related risks.

• Supervise personnel assignments, onboarding, offboarding, and workforce planning.

• Act as the main communication liaison between technical staff and clients.

• Coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and address challenges with clients.

• Lead and manage technical and administrative teams, including subordinate supervisors.

• Conduct hiring and performance assessments.

• Oversee technical execution, financial management, and business growth for annual revenues exceeding $10M.

• Build and nurture a high-performing team.

• Ensure the quality of products, services, and deliverables.

• Participate in reviews, audits, and site assessments.

• Manage contract transition processes.

• Utilize cloud, infrastructure, and application development services effectively.

• Prepare and evaluate technical and cost proposals.

• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, cost estimation, cost control, reconciliation, and profit improvement.

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities and finances.

• Develop, review, and authorize plans, schedules, consulting agreements, and program documentation.

• Prepare and present reports and technical reviews for senior management.

• Ensure adherence to corporate and governmental policies and standards.

• Engage in special projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.

• 15+ years of experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in complex settings.

• Proven experience supervising both technical and administrative personnel, including subordinate supervisors.

• Experience in hiring processes and conducting performance evaluations.

• Demonstrated success in directing program activities to meet client and organizational goals.

• Experience collaborating with clients to align tasks and address issues.

• Proficiency in contractual obligations, Microsoft Windows, people management, and supervision.

• Willingness to travel onsite to client locations in Montgomery, AL, and Huntsville, AL, for 30% or more of the time.

• U.S. citizenship is not a requirement.
