Project and Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee programs and projects associated with FAA NISC task orders.

• Ensure that NISC task-order processes function smoothly while maintaining effective communication with Leidos personnel and FAA clients.

• Evaluate organizational skill demographics to forecast future skill set requirements.

• Facilitate employee recruitment, selection, training, orientations, and candidate evaluations.

• Identify labor categories and necessary skill levels in collaboration with clients and NISC team members.

• Create office policies and procedures that support program management and administrative goals.

• Manage NISC resources within the constraints of the contract budget.

• Track, analyze, verify, and monitor task-order financial data and employee travel expenses.

• Offer guidance to subcontractors executing work on MMAC/DC task orders.

• Organize training, travel, and other direct costs.

• Compile monthly status reports, including the Contract Status Report and related documentation.

• Regularly interface with FAA clients, contractor personnel, FAA Engineering Technical Officers, and other FAA representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of related experience.

• Proven experience in conducting research, evaluating personnel and processes, and presenting recommendations or solutions related to short- and long-term program planning needs.

• Experience in leading team meetings, preparing monthly status reports, and participating in national and regional virtual meetings.

• Strong communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to produce well-documented, organized written materials that meet established writing standards.

• Capability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams.

• Preferred: familiarity with FAA/NISC hiring, suitability clearance, and onboarding processes.

• Preferred: knowledge of NISC program operations, talent acquisition, required job skills, and collaboration with MMAC/DC managers and Enterprise Transportation talent acquisition liaisons.

• Preferred: skill in identifying problems and determining appropriate actions within company and client policies.
