This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to monitor and manage revenue, COGS, and marketing expenditures.
• Develop, present, and implement business plans for the assigned product portfolios and market channels.
• Oversee pricing strategies, supplier relationships, go-to-market plans, and product positioning.
• Create, implement, and manage marketing programs, which include online initiatives, advertising, sales force materials, trade show marketing, and vendor marketing campaigns.
• Utilize sales data, market information, pricing strategies, customer segmentation, and competitive intelligence to uncover opportunities and target markets.
• Support the expansion of new products and channels to enhance revenue and strengthen brand equity.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs.
• Develop cross-promotional initiatives with Manufacturer Partners.
• Contribute to and lead clinical and product training programs.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust marketing strategies as needed.
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to bolster sales and profitability across multiple product lines.
• Analyze business developments and keep track of market trends.
• Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets.
• Manage the creation and distribution of collateral materials.
• Provide support for departmental projects as directed by the Director of Product Management.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three to five years of product/marketing management experience in a value-added distribution industry, business-to-business sales environment, or the healthcare products sector.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management is advantageous.
• Previous experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Proven experience in product/category management, product positioning, customer segmentation, pricing, communication, and marketing strategies.
• Ability to think strategically while executing tasks with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent project management abilities.
• Strong business acumen with advanced planning and forecasting skills, alongside exceptional financial and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide valuable business insights.
• Experience in effective supplier relationship management.
• Understanding of new product launch processes and an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate and communicate business and market requirements to align stakeholders.
• Experience in directing creative strategies and tactics.
• Experience in contract management, including creating, redlining, negotiating, and finalizing agreements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM, with strong analytical skills in Excel and advanced capabilities in PowerPoint.
• Ability to independently manage all aspects of the role in a remote setting.
• Capability to fulfill the physical requirements of the role, including occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Commitment to working a minimum of 40 hours per week, including variable hours, evening shifts, and occasional weekends.
