This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Develop and manage a qualified pipeline within designated strategic accounts and territories.
β’ Stimulate demand and market growth by defining use cases, generating customer interest, and transforming whitespace into a qualified pipeline.
β’ Recognize whitespace, opportunities for competitive displacement, and innovative use cases beyond conventional storage refresh cycles.
β’ Cultivate opportunities in AI infrastructure, inference and RAG, analytics, data lakes and Lakehouse modernization, cyber resilience and rapid recovery, enterprise file and object storage, as well as high-performance S3 and hybrid cloud data architectures.
β’ Lead consultative exploration of customer business, application, data, and infrastructure challenges.
β’ Convert technical differentiation into enhanced recovery, improved AI and analytics performance, reduced complexity and cost, and increased business agility.
β’ Create compelling value propositions addressing why change is necessary, why now is the time, and the unique advantages of HPE.
β’ Engage with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, data/AI leaders, infrastructure executives, architects, and application stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with HPE account teams, Solution Architects, partners, ISVs, marketing, and product teams to advance opportunities and close deals.
β’ Coordinate stakeholders around priority markets, use cases, and growth strategies.
β’ Develop and implement competitive strategies against established and emerging data infrastructure providers.
β’ Represent HPE at customer workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and partner engagements.
β’ Achieve targets across a balanced scorecard encompassing business outcomes, pipeline, ecosystem growth, AI alignment, and market development.
β’ Establish the role and market foundation in the first half of FY27, then scale knowledge and best-practice sharing in the second half to prepare Storage sellers for more in-depth engagement in FY28.
β’ Over 7 years of successful experience in enterprise technology sales, specialist sales, or business development.
β’ Experience in selling to Enterprise accounts is essential.
β’ Proven track record of creating pipeline and closing complex enterprise opportunities.
β’ Background in selling storage, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, data protection, or related technologies.
β’ Strong consultative and value-oriented selling capabilities.
β’ Ability to comprehend technical architectures and convey them as clear business value.
β’ Demonstrated success in selling new or disruptive technologies that require customer education and market creation.
β’ Excellent executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
β’ Competitive mindset with experience in developing displacement strategies.
β’ Capacity to collaborate effectively with account executives, technical teams, partners, and executive stakeholders.
β’ Willingness to travel for customer and partner interactions.
β’ Preferred familiarity with enterprise file and object storage, S3, NFS, SMB, AI infrastructure, inference and RAG, data lakes, Lakehouse, analytics, backup, recovery, cyber resilience, hybrid and multi-cloud data architectures, and high-performance data infrastructure.
β’ Experience with providers like Dell Technologies, NetApp, Pure Storage, VAST Data, WEKA, Cohesity, Commvault, IBM, Scality, Cloudian, or similar is highly desirable.
