This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Develop and manage a qualified pipeline within designated strategic accounts and territories.
β’ Stimulate demand and market growth by defining use cases, generating customer interest, and transforming whitespace into a qualified pipeline.
β’ Recognize whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, and new use cases that extend beyond conventional storage refresh cycles.
β’ Create opportunities across AI infrastructure, inference and RAG; analytics, data lakes, and Lakehouse modernization; cyber resilience and rapid recovery; enterprise file and object storage; along with high-performance S3 and hybrid cloud data architectures.
β’ Lead consultative discovery into customer business, application, data, and infrastructure challenges.
β’ Convert technical differentiation into quicker recovery, enhanced AI and analytics performance, reduced complexity and cost, and increased business agility.
β’ Build persuasive propositions regarding the reasons for change, urgency, and the value of HPE.
β’ Engage with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, data and AI leaders, infrastructure executives, architects, and application owners.
β’ Collaborate with HPE account teams, Solution Architects, partners, ISVs, marketing, and product teams to progress opportunities and finalize business deals.
β’ Coordinate account teams, partners, ISVs, marketing, and product stakeholders around priority markets, use cases, and growth strategies.
β’ Formulate and implement competitive strategies against established and emerging data infrastructure providers.
β’ Represent HPE at customer workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and partner engagements.
β’ Achieve outcomes based on a balanced scorecard that includes business results, pipeline, ecosystem growth, AI alignment, and market development.
β’ Establish the role and market foundation in the first half of FY27, then scale knowledge and best practices in the second half to prepare Storage sellers for more in-depth engagement in FY28.
β’ Over 7 years of successful experience in enterprise technology sales, specialist sales, or business development.
β’ Required experience selling to Enterprise accounts.
β’ Proven track record in creating a pipeline and closing intricate enterprise opportunities.
β’ Experience in selling storage, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, data protection, or related technologies.
β’ Strong consultative and value-based selling abilities.
β’ Capability to understand technical architectures and articulate their business value clearly.
β’ Proven success in selling new or disruptive technologies where customer education and market creation are essential.
β’ Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
β’ Competitive mindset with experience in developing displacement strategies.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with account executives, technical teams, partners, and executive stakeholders.
β’ Willingness to travel for customer and partner interactions.
β’ Preferred familiarity with enterprise file and object storage, S3, NFS, SMB, AI infrastructure, inference and RAG, data lakes, Lakehouse and analytics, backup, recovery, cyber resilience, hybrid and multi-cloud data architectures, and high-performance data infrastructure.
β’ Highly desirable experience with Dell Technologies, NetApp, Pure Storage, VAST Data, WEKA, Cohesity, Commvault, IBM, Scality, Cloudian, or similar providers.
