Underwriting Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver service for moderately complex accounts regarding policy and endorsement issuance.

• Organize documentation and establish set-up.

• Examine account details for input into relevant systems to guarantee accurate data reporting.

• Request, prepare, and/or revise reports.

• Conduct policy rating and/or initial entry into the rating model.

• Handle various underwriting transactions and requests.

• Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, liaising with internal functions and brokers.

• Execute booking and invoicing tasks.

• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as required.

• Proven technical expertise and knowledge in insurance (WC, GL, Property & Commercial Auto).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.

• Recognized resource for colleagues and other internal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, demonstrating accountability and a sense of urgency.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance sector.

• Familiarity with WC, GL, Property, and/or Commercial Auto.

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Insurance Designation is preferred.
