Underwriting Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Issue insurance policies and endorsements

• Document and organize files

• Review account details for data entry into the relevant systems

• Prepare, order, and/or update various reports

• Conduct policy rating and/or initial entry into the rating model

• Process multiple underwriting transactions and requests

• Communicate with brokers to gather information at the underwriter’s request

• Manage booking and invoicing tasks

• Coordinate services with other operational units as necessary

• Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriters, corporate resources, and global teams

• Ensure that service level agreements are fulfilled and that account service delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail

• Customer-oriented mindset

• Collaborative and team-focused

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Experience with customer service skills, established processes, and various software applications

• Capability to analyze key information, determine the best course of action, and resolve issues effectively
