Underwriting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist underwriters in the collection, examination, and verification of documentation for risk evaluation and policy administration.

• Prepare and maintain underwriting files, logs, and records within the designated systems.

• Compile and analyze data to aid underwriting decisions and fulfill internal reporting obligations.

• Oversee workflow to guarantee the timely completion of underwriting tasks and adherence to established procedures.

• Address internal and external inquiries regarding underwriting documentation and provide status updates.

• Facilitate communication among underwriters, brokers, and other internal departments.

• Support quality control measures to ensure data integrity and compliance with both company and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in underwriting support, insurance operations, or administrative roles within a related industry.

• Familiarity with insurance principles, underwriting procedures, or risk assessment concepts is desirable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Fluency in English is required.

• No specific certifications, licenses, or registrations are necessary.
