UI/UX Designer – Middle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of product design from inception to completion for clients, including discovery and problem identification to refined UI and developer handoff.

• Work closely with clients to grasp their business objectives, user requirements, and key priorities.

• Lead product discovery initiatives.

• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality visual designs.

• Articulate, justify, and defend design choices while integrating feedback from clients and team members.

• Contribute to and enhance design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Validate proposed solutions, iterate based on feedback, and continuously enhance the user experience.

• Prepare designs that are ready for production and supply developers with precise specifications and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing SaaS products, including both web and mobile applications, with a solid understanding of the business context.

• A product-focused mindset that connects design choices to user needs and business objectives.

• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and interaction patterns.

• Experience in creating and utilizing design systems.

• Proficient use of Figma as the main design tool.

• Familiarity with utilizing AI for research, synthesis, and prototyping.

• Direct experience in communicating with clients who speak English.

• Proficient written and verbal English skills at a B2+ level.

• Capability to present and articulate design decisions and constructively exchange feedback.

• Ability to ask pertinent questions early in the kickoff phase.

• Competence to independently manage the design process, proactively identify risks, and make well-informed design decisions.

• High emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and a good sense of humor.

• Knowledge of front-end concepts/design frameworks is a plus.
