This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver a refined user interface for the vCluster Platform from initial concept to flawless execution.

• Collaborate daily with frontend engineers to define and implement product design tasks.

• Maintain close communication with backend engineering to grasp technical feasibility.

• Investigate technical requirements and proposed solutions through user experience studies, competitive analysis, and other methodologies.

• Work alongside product and engineering leadership to transform vague requirements into precise design guidance.

• Partner with Brand Designers to ensure product visuals are consistent with the vCluster Labs' brand identity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience designing UI or product experiences for a B2B product.

• Preferably experience in designing products utilized by engineers, DevOps, or platform teams.

• Capability to comprehend complex software engineering concepts through research, interest in the domain, or personal experience.

• A user-centric design approach that prioritizes specific user needs.

• Skill in creating clear, visually appealing interfaces in line with contemporary UI patterns.

• Eagerness to learn about technical subjects, read technical documentation, and explore independently.

• Proficiency in structuring clear presentations, defending design choices, and questioning assumptions.

• Experience in the cloud ecosystem with cloud providers, DevOps tools, Kubernetes, or engineer-facing infrastructure products is advantageous.

• Previous experience in an early-stage startup is a plus.
