UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop adaptive UI/UX solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technical requirements, including designs, layouts, and interactive prototypes.

• Implement user-centered design methodologies and leverage research findings and feedback to create and validate design solutions.

• Participate in the evolution of the design system for existing and future functionalities; maintain its components, patterns, and documentation.

• Prepare designs and specifications ready for implementation, and oversee the handoff process of layouts to developers.

• Verify the implemented functionality against approved designs; identify discrepancies, usability issues, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with designers, business analysts, product managers, developers, QA, and technical writers; communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.

• Present design solutions and their justifications to internal stakeholders; consider feedback and iteratively enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in product, UI/UX design, and a portfolio of work with digital products.

• Strong practical knowledge of UI, visual, UX, and interaction design, including creating user scenarios, wireframes, adaptive UI, attention to detail, and visual consistency.

• Proficient in Figma, including components, variables, prototyping, and preparing layouts for handoff to developers.

• Understanding and practical experience using AI tools in design processes, along with the ability to critically assess their output.

• Practical knowledge of design systems, WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Material Design 3.

• Familiarity with user-centered design methodologies and the ability to utilize research findings, analytics, feedback, and usability testing to validate design solutions.

• Understanding of product/software development processes, Agile practices, and fundamental frontend development constraints.

• Ability to learn quickly, work independently within defined responsibilities, effectively collaborate with the team, and clearly articulate design solutions.

• Proficiency in English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
