UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop responsive and adaptive UI/UX solutions tailored to user, business, and technical requirements, encompassing designs, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Employ user-centered design techniques and leverage research and feedback to inform and validate design outcomes.

• Contribute to the design system for both current and future functionalities; manage components, patterns, and documentation.

• Prepare designs and specifications that are ready for implementation and assist in the handoff to developers.

• Evaluate implemented features against approved designs; identify any discrepancies, usability challenges, and areas for enhancement.

• Collaborate with designers, business analysts, product managers, developers, quality assurance specialists, and technical writers.

• Communicate updates, risks, and dependencies effectively.

• Present design solutions and their rationale to internal stakeholders, integrate feedback, and iterate accordingly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product/UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing digital product work.

• Strong practical understanding of UI, visual, UX, and interaction design, including user flows, wireframing, and responsive/adaptive UI.

• Proficient in Figma, with skills in components, variables, prototyping, and developer handoff.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and the capability to critically assess outputs.

• Working knowledge of design systems, WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Material Design 3.

• Understanding of user-centered design methodologies and the ability to utilize research, analytics, feedback, and usability testing to support design decisions.

• Comprehension of product/software development processes, Agile methodologies, and basic front-end constraints.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.

• Ability to quickly learn, work autonomously within defined parameters, collaborate effectively, and clearly articulate design decisions.
