UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organize and execute stakeholder interviews, user research, workflow assessments, and usability evaluations.

• Transform qualitative and quantitative insights into personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and prioritized design opportunities.

• Develop information architectures, task flows, wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces, and interactive prototypes.

• Craft responsive experiences that comply with accessibility standards, considering edge cases, error states, and complex data.

• Collaborate with product managers, analysts, engineers, and QA to translate design intent into verifiable acceptance criteria.

• Evaluate implemented work for usability, accessibility, and fidelity.

• Address tradeoffs in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Oversee research, interaction design, prototyping, and design-system initiatives for accessible and user-friendly digital products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, visual design, psychology, information science, or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least seven years of experience in UI/UX, product design, interaction design, or a related field, with ownership of complex products or workflows.

• A portfolio showcasing research-driven decisions, interaction design, prototyping, accessibility, and successful project outcomes.

• Strong ability to articulate design rationale and work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in designing applications for federal, defense, enterprise, data-intensive, or regulated environments.

• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2, Section 508, responsive design, and design-token methodologies preferred.

• Experience in establishing or expanding a multi-product design system is preferred.

• Employment is contingent upon the completion of required background checks.
