This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist attorneys in formulating and executing legal strategies.
• Prepare Judicial Council documents and accompanying legal paperwork.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and team members to enhance case workflows and office procedures.
• Manage trust administration, trust management, and conservatorship issues.
• Record and monitor billable and nonbillable time entries.
• Oversee assigned caseloads and ensure timely advancement of all matters.
• Handle legal calendaring and schedule significant deadlines.
• Deliver outstanding client service through clear and professional communication.
• Create reports, correspondence, chronologies, and legal summaries.
• Organize, summarize, and maintain information related to cases.
• Keep both electronic and physical case files updated.
• Coordinate and prepare materials for hearings, mediations, and attorney meetings.
• Track deadlines, milestones, and court-related requirements.
• Communicate with clients, experts, courts, and third parties to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis pertaining to trust administration, probate, and conservatorship matters.
• File forms, legal documents, and supporting materials.
• Perform document reviews and case evaluations.
• Review California Probate Code, California Rules of Court, and relevant local regulations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, petitions, affidavits, declarations, subpoenas, agreements, court orders, and other legal documents.
• At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary.
• Required experience with California Trust Administration processes.
• Strong comprehension of trust administration procedures, trust management matters, and conservatorship cases.
• Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Assistant Studies.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory if the minimum experience is fulfilled.
• Comprehensive knowledge of California Trust Administration procedures.
• Experience in managing trust administration, probate, and conservatorship cases.
• Proficient case management and legal document preparation abilities.
• Capability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Client-focused attitude with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented work approach.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

• Remote position operating in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Expected light call volume (average of 5 calls per day).
• Proficient in Clio Manage, Dialpad, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF Software, Legal Calendaring Software, Judicial Council Forms, and Lawya.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
