Bilingual Paralegal, Employment Law – Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Respond to inbound calls, web inquiries, and text messages from prospective clients using the firm's screening scripts.

• Gather comprehensive case details regarding employers, employment dates, reasons for termination, pay disputes, and indicators of protected class/activity, ensuring all information is accurately documented in the CRM.

• Conduct initial case assessments, including evaluating the statute of limitations, employer size, and distinguishing between at-will and contract employment status.

• Identify and flag high-priority leads for the attorney on the same day.

• Distribute and monitor retainer agreements and intake forms through e-signature platforms.

• Arrange consultations and manage the attorney’s calendar effectively.

• Organize client documentation and create case timelines.

• Follow up with clients to obtain additional records as needed.

• Prepare initial demand letters and administrative agency filings for EEOC, CRD, and DLSE using predefined templates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in a U.S. law firm as an Intake Specialist or Paralegal, preferably in employment law, personal injury, or plaintiff-side litigation.

• Outstanding bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with a preference for an American accent.

• Possess a calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor on the phone.

• Strong written English skills; summaries and notes must be clear, comprehensive, and organized for attorney review without necessitating follow-up calls.

• Practical experience with legal case management systems (such as Clio, MyCase, Filevine, Lawmatics, or similar) and e-signature tools.

• Solid understanding of confidentiality, HIPAA/PII protection, and attorney-client privilege regulations.

• Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• Fully remote position.
