Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage professionally, effectively, and efficiently with clients, contacts, attorneys, other paralegals, and professional staff.

• Support attorneys in drafting pleadings, performing legal and factual research, reviewing and analyzing documents, and preparing for hearings, depositions, and mediations.

• Review, collect, and organize client documents from production through the discovery phase.

• Conduct research, organize, and summarize records to aid in data collection.

• Systematically arrange information and documents within databases.

• Assist in drafting and responding to discovery requests.

• Contribute to trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial pleadings, preparing exhibits, coordinating witness logistics and requests with external vendors, and providing live support during trials.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on litigation.

• Proven experience in litigation support and case management.

• Preferred experience in personal injury litigation.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and adapt to dynamic work environments.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Experience in drafting and organizing written discovery and document production.

• Familiarity with preparing for and assisting during trials.

• Knowledge of California State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

• Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or similar litigation support software.

• Exceptional analytical and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, along with organizational and technical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Previous experience in California litigation.

• Significant hands-on experience in personal injury and construction/construction defect litigation.
