This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the training and technical assistance needs of tribal justice and public safety in collaboration with tribal leadership and program personnel.

• Create and implement training, curricula, toolkits, peer learning opportunities, and coaching specifically designed for tribal justice environments.

• Assist in program design, policy formulation, data management practices, and ongoing enhancement for tribal courts, law enforcement, victim services, or reentry collaborators.

• Organize culturally relevant stakeholder engagement and partner networks within tribal and intergovernmental frameworks.

• Provide specialized qualifications and performance narratives for WIL grant and sponsored research submissions when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in offering training or technical assistance to tribal justice, tribal courts, tribal law enforcement, or tribal victim services programs.

• Excellent skills in facilitation, curriculum or toolkit creation, and producing written materials for both research and practitioner audiences.

• Capability to engage respectfully with tribal nations, governments, and community stakeholders.

• Willingness to pursue full-time employment or project-based contract opportunities.

• Remote-first position with travel as necessary for partner and field activities.

• Experience with federal justice training and technical assistance programs or national models for building tribal justice capacity (preferred).

• Knowledge of tribal sovereignty, Indian Country justice systems, and intergovernmental collaboration (preferred).

• Previous work that can be referenced along with the agency or tribal partner, your role, and the year (preferred).
