Traveling Site Quality Manager, CWI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop isometric drawings for weld maps utilizing computer software tools.

• Input welding and inspection details into the tracking system.

• Support the planning and execution of pressure testing activities.

• Evaluate and archive NDE/NDT documentation.

• Collaborate with NDE staff for effective work planning and execution.

• Compile and assess project documentation packages.

• Conduct and record inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to ensure compliance.

• Assess welders and carry out weld inspections in accordance with various codes.

• Analyze client specifications to ensure they are satisfied.

• Adhere to project quality assurance protocols.

• Comply with inspection and test plans (I&TPs).

• Uphold Mullins core values and safety regulations.

• Plan and implement root cause analyses and corrective action reports.

• Provide guidance to job site leadership on quality programs and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a Quality Manager role.

• In-depth understanding of codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE).

• Experience in verifying the alignment of mechanical equipment.

• Valid AWS CWI and/or ASNT VT II and/or API 510/570 certifications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of NDT techniques (UT, MT, PT, RT).

• Familiarity with ASTM standards and materials.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or project management software (Procore).

• Strong communication skills with colleagues.

• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication abilities.

• High organizational skills.

• Extensive experience in reading and interpreting drawings.

• Self-driven with a commitment to learning and development.

• Capability to work outdoors in extreme weather, around loud noises and unusual odors, in confined spaces, and near overhead activities.
