Travel Consultant – Corporate International, Complex

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of corporate travel for ADTRAV clients.

• Engage with customers through various communication channels to identify travel destinations, transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodation requirements.

• Respond promptly to client calls and emails for new travel arrangements or itinerary modifications.

• Utilize Sabre for booking and issuing both domestic and complex international airline itineraries, as well as hotel, car, train, and other reservations.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of account specifics to assist clients without delay.

• Review queues daily to ensure the accuracy and completeness of issued tickets.

• Uphold service non-stop programs, including preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.

• Offer travel expertise and provide international travel quotes.

• Evaluate fare rules, restrictions, non-refundable conditions, Open Skies, and FAA regulations.

• Achieve management-defined KPIs, including productivity and transaction targets, consistent attendance, and adherence to schedules.

• Coordinate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating arrangements, and upgrades, while updating clients accordingly.

• Adhere to ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved traveler-service workflows.

• Deliver exceptional customer service, exhibit empathy, and identify and resolve traveler issues.

• Collaborate with agents and employees to troubleshoot problems, gather information, and assist travelers.

• Enhance knowledge of ADTRAV’s industry and customer base through ongoing training.

• Embody ADTRAV values and maintain effective relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Execute other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in booking domestic and international travel; experience with complex international travel is a plus.

• Proficiency in using a GDS System; Sabre is required, Amadeus is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.

• Familiarity with federal travel regulations, the Fly America Act, and the Open Skies Agreement.

• Strong computer and typing skills, including the ability to navigate swiftly between programs and utilize shortcut keys.

• Proven experience in learning and using technology, with the capability to operate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.

• Ability to consistently provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong listening skills; able to comprehend and respond to travelers’ needs and clarify as necessary.

• High attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and quality.

• Highly self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, while remaining open to feedback and direction.

• Professional and positive demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers/clients; able to work collaboratively.

• Capacity to work remotely while meeting company home-office requirements.

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods without leaving the work area.

• Successfully complete and pass new hire and department-specific training.

• Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

• Availability to work Monday-Friday schedules between 7am-7pm CT.

• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as required.

• Successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.
