Analytics & Reporting Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Utilize advanced Tableau expertise along with a strong understanding of the healthcare industry to assist clinical and business stakeholders for the IL Commercial HMO and Marketplace.

• Deliver analytical support and consultancy services to both internal and external clients.

• Offer advisory services to senior leaders both within and outside the organization.

• Analyze and report on data utilizing Excel, SQL, Python, and R.

• Employ Tableau and Power BI for storytelling to illustrate outcomes and identify opportunities.

• Collect and document business requirements that support information-related strategies.

• Develop and deliver presentations aimed at informing and influencing stakeholders.

• Lead functional teams and manage projects effectively.

• Address complex analytical challenges and apply existing solutions from innovative angles.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of analytical experience in relationship management or translating analytics insights into actionable strategies, OR 9 years of analytical experience in similar roles.

• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements to support information-related strategies.

• Proven ability to tackle complex problems and view existing solutions from new perspectives.

• Familiarity with software development processes, including SDLC and Agile methodologies, tools, and technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering presentations to inform and influence audiences.

• Proven track record in leading functional teams and managing projects.

• Proficiency in SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, and Python.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills that are clear and concise.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Preferred experience in healthcare related to business development, business analytics, or innovation management.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.
