Travel Consultant – Corporate International, Complex

📋 Description

• Respond promptly to calls and emails from clients seeking new travel arrangements or modifications to current itineraries.

• Use Sabre for accurate and efficient booking and issuing of airline, hotel, car, and other reservations.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of accounts to assist clients without delays.

• Review queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of all issued tickets.

• Manage service non-stop programs such as preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.

• Offer travel expertise to clients.

• Provide quotes for international travel while analyzing rules, restrictions, non-refundable conditions, Open Skies, and FAA regulations.

• Meet management-defined KPIs related to productivity, transactions, consistent attendance, and schedule adherence.

• Liaise with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades, keeping clients informed as necessary.

• Adhere to ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows for servicing travelers.

• Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrate empathy, and identify and resolve traveler issues.

• Collaborate with other agents and employees to address problems, gather information, and assist travelers.

• Enhance knowledge of ADTRAV's industry and customer base.

• Engage in ongoing training to improve industry knowledge and skills.

• Represent ADTRAV's company values and foster effective relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.

• Comply with company policies and procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in booking both domestic and international travel; experience with complex international travel is a plus.

• Proficiency in using a GDS System; Sabre is required, Amadeus is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.

• Familiarity with federal travel regulations, Fly America Act, and Open Skies Agreement.

• Strong computer and typing skills, including the ability to navigate swiftly between programs and utilize shortcut keys.

• Proven experience in learning and using technology, with the capability to manage multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.

• Ability to consistently provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Strong listening skills, able to understand and respond to travelers' needs and clarify as required.

• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.

• Highly self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, and completing tasks with minimal supervision.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to convey ideas and concepts clearly and concisely while being receptive to feedback and direction.

• Professional and positive demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers/clients and ability to work collaboratively.

• Ability to work remotely and fulfill company home-office requirements.

• Capable of sitting and working at a computer for extended periods without leaving the work area.

• Must successfully attend and complete new hire and department-specific training.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

• Flexible availability to work a schedule between Monday and Friday, 7 am-7 pm CT.

• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as necessary.

• Must successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.
