Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Aid clients in researching and planning vacations tailored to their preferences, needs, and budgets.

• Investigate destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation options, and other travel services.

• Prepare and deliver travel quotes and itinerary suggestions.

• Arrange travel bookings via approved travel suppliers and booking platforms.

• Interact with clients throughout the booking process—before, during, and after.

• Keep precise records of client and reservation details.

• Manage and track payments, deadlines, and final payment dates.

• Stay updated on supplier promotions, destination news, and travel regulations.

• Engage in available training and professional development opportunities.

• Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients.

• Promote and expand your independent travel business.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Proficient with computers, email, and online platforms.

• Well-organized with a keen eye for detail.

• Capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.

• Open to completing training and furthering knowledge of the travel industry.

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel is beneficial but not mandatory.
