Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in integrating Illumio into their systems.

• Oversee the deployment and upgrades of the Illumio platform, managing timelines and resources effectively.

• Conduct technical evaluations and provide guidance for preparation of changes.

• Create Illumio-specific API scripts for deployment, monitoring, and management of services.

• Offer best practices, documentation, and recommendations for optimization.

• Prepare and sustain project documentation.

• Collaborate with teams in IT Security, Security Tooling, and Security Operations.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Illumio deployments, resolving anomalies and performance challenges.

• Act as the main point of contact between client teams and Illumio's product and support teams.

• Provide metrics and reports on the effectiveness of deployments.

• Assist internal teams with integration documentation and the development of security rulesets and policies.

• Facilitate testing and validation of the platform for client service teams.

• Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for client teams.

• Complete administrative tasks, including timesheets and weekly reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of consulting or advisory experience.

• Strong proficiency in Linux, ideally CentOS/Red Hat, and Windows Server platforms.

• Experience with cloud computing models such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Familiarity with container platform architectures like Kubernetes or OpenShift.

• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Bash, Python, Ruby, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts, including network flows, protocols, and application security measures.

• Capability to diagnose and resolve issues in unfamiliar technological environments.

• Quick adaptability to evolving technologies and new tools.

• Strong client-facing skills, including conflict resolution and project management experience.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to customize messages for diverse audiences.

• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure.

• Willingness to travel to Silicon Valley headquarters for product training and knowledge enhancement.

• Ability to rapidly assimilate new product knowledge and implement it in customer environments.

• Prior experience with Illumio is not mandatory; training will be provided.
