Cloud Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, design, and implement core offerings from Red Hat, such as OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, RHEL, ODF, and Kubernetes-based technologies.

• Deploy automated, containerized solutions for cloud application platforms.

• Address infrastructure issues encompassing networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience.

• Acquire knowledge and apply skills in container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks.

• Act as an on-site subject matter expert for technical, developmental, and strategic IT requirements.

• Oversee problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of intricate open source solutions.

• Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.

• Deliver high-quality results in a timely manner and within project scope, including maintaining project journals, status reports, and other standard documentation.

• Engage in sales and proposal presentations as well as ongoing team account activities.

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, articulating the advantages of Red Hat cloud solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• A master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an MBA is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, ideally with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a similar variant.

• More than 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies.

• At least 2 years of scripting or programming experience.

• Familiarity with system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds.

• Exceptional technical skills along with strong communication and customer-facing abilities.

• Quick adaptability to learn new technologies.

• Flexibility to adjust to evolving customer requirements.

• An Agile and DevOps mindset is desirable, along with a willingness to study and learn Agile practices.

• Red Hat certifications will be regarded as a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus.
