Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in researching and planning their vacations according to their preferences, needs, and budgets.

• Conduct research on destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation, and other travel options.

• Prepare and present travel quotes along with itinerary options.

• Arrange travel bookings through approved suppliers and booking platforms.

• Communicate with clients throughout the booking process, before, during, and after.

• Maintain accurate records of client and reservation details.

• Process and monitor payments, deadlines, and final payment schedules.

• Stay updated on supplier promotions, destination developments, and travel requirements.

• Engage in available training and professional development opportunities.

• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients.

• Market and expand your independent travel business.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

• Proficiency in using computers, email, and online platforms is required.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Willingness to undergo training and continue learning about the travel industry.

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or travel is beneficial but not mandatory.

• No prior experience in the travel industry is necessary.
