Travel Consultant – After Hours Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with coaches and operations personnel from various universities to address multi-level requirements.

• Arrange and modify air travel records, hotel accommodations, car rentals, private transportation services, and buses based on client specifications.

• Reserve hotels and vehicles using the Global Distribution System (GDS).

• Invoice group accommodations and bus services for teams during off-peak times and quieter periods.

• Handle incoming calls and emails while ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Collaborate closely with the team to assist in task completion.

• Assist with travel requirements for collegiate athletic departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Sabre or a comparable Global Distribution System (GDS).

• Proficient in multitasking while managing phone calls and emails.

• Capability to work from home with minimal distractions.

• Strong customer service focus.

• Willingness to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays, with potential overtime as necessary.

• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week.

• Proficient in booking and ticketing air travel reservations.

• Understanding of partial and full exchange processes, ticket voiding, and issuing MCOs.

• Strong client service orientation.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.

• Capacity to work independently.

• Previous travel experience is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience with GDS is preferred.

• Familiarity with travel-specific systems such as GDS and Concur is preferred.
