This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Transform inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries into bookings for Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations, emphasizing a strong B2B approach.
• Conduct timely outbound follow-up calls to nurture leads and finalize sales.
• Assess leads by understanding their travel aspirations, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Create engaging, tailored rail holiday itineraries.
• Communicate pricing, upselling opportunities, and time-sensitive promotions.
• Achieve or surpass sales goals, conversion rates, and other critical performance indicators.
• Build relationships with customers and travel advisors to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate bookings and quotes.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of rail routes, destinations, and travel packages.
• Track leads and sales within CRM systems while adhering to established procedures.
• Engage in product training, sales coaching, and team performance initiatives.
• Efficiently manage daily responsibilities and sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service contact center, ideally in the travel, hospitality, or transportation sectors.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities with a clear, concise, and professional telephone presence.
• Strong active listening skills and the capability to empathize with customer needs.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a resourceful mindset for finding effective solutions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when overseeing multiple tasks and complex itineraries.
• Proficient with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, remote setting.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• A genuine enthusiasm for travel and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A bachelor's degree or relevant certifications in Hospitality or Travel is a plus.
• Candidates must be permanently based in and authorized to work in England or Scotland.
