Transformation Consultant – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead specific transformation initiatives or defined workstreams throughout the lifecycle, overseeing plans, workstreams, and client communication.

• Engage in discovery through interviews, workshops, surveys, usage data, and operational metrics.

• Synthesize diagnoses, prioritize workflows, and determine next-step actions.

• Map existing and future-state workflows while creating scoped plans for targeted modifications, activation, adoption, risk management, dependencies, and success metrics.

• Establish baselines and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative evidence.

• Generate accurate reports detailing what data supports and does not support.

• Recognize barriers to adoption and initiate effective recovery measures.

• Assist in implementing responsible-use controls, review processes, quality assurance, and accountability for key use cases.

• Collaborate with AI engineers deployed on the front lines to design workflows utilizing customer systems and data.

• Convert technical possibilities into practical workflow designs.

• Ensure the quality and credibility of work, escalate challenging decisions to a Principal Consultant, and translate field insights into reusable team methodologies.

• Work closely with client teams alongside Sales, AI engineers, enablement specialists, and product teams from the initial client engagement through to rollout and value assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Organizational Transformation, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in professional services, consulting, transformation, change management, or complex AI or enterprise-technology delivery, subject to HR leveling.

• Proven experience in independently leading defined customer engagements or workstreams within established scope, timelines, and commercial expectations.

• Experience in assessing professional workflows and contributing to specific workflow and operational changes that facilitate technology-enabled outcomes.

• Strong skills in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management across business, legal, operational, technology, and end-user groups.

• Analytical capability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative evidence, set success metrics, and propose clear subsequent actions.

• Understanding of change management, adoption strategies, AI capabilities and limitations, and responsible-use considerations within professional workflows.

• Excellent communication and structured writing skills, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional delivery.

• Experience with AI-enabled legal, tax, trade, risk, compliance, or similar regulated professional workflows is preferred.

• Familiarity with utilizing customer evidence to formulate recommendations or contribute to reusable consulting assets is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in change management, process improvement, project management, or responsible AI are preferred.
