This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of Transfer Acquisition Specialists.
• Set performance expectations, objectives, and development strategies.
• Track individual and team productivity, quality, and overall business outcomes.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and discussions on career development.
• Oversee initiatives related to agency book transfers and conversions.
• Ensure the consistent application of transfer methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
• Manage workload prioritization and the allocation of resources.
• Monitor transfer deadlines, key milestones, and stabilization activities.
• Address escalated issues that impact the success of agency conversions.
• Foster relationships with agencies and distribution partners.
• Assist agencies in navigating change management during transitions.
• Analyze metrics on quote conversion, policy binding, retention, and transfer completion.
• Formulate strategies to enhance conversion outcomes and reduce disruptions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Technology teams.
• Create standardized procedures, reporting mechanisms, and performance assessments.
• Lead initiatives for process improvements to boost transfer outcomes and enhance customer experiences.
• Track KPIs, provide business updates and executive-level reports, and identify operational, compliance, and execution risks.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, performance management, talent development, and workforce planning.
• Experience with independent agencies, agency operations, or carrier distribution frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products and agency workflows.
• Proven experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Background in managing complex projects, implementations, or business transitions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and change management abilities.
• Capacity to analyze performance metrics and drive business success.
• Experience in overcoming objections, building relationships, and influencing stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in insurance, agency operations, sales operations, implementation, or business transformation.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience is preferred.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
