This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee a team of sales professionals dedicated to expanding HPE Networking’s transactional SMB and mid-market operations.
• Achieve sales targets for the Latin America region through the Americas go-to-market strategy.
• Lead Business Development Managers, Channel Managers, Distribution Development Managers, and foster virtual/dotted-line Marketing collaborations.
• Establish direction and manage deliverables for the designated sales team.
• Meet revenue and expense goals.
• Address customer issues and engage in negotiations with key clients and partners.
• Cultivate strategic executive relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Create top-tier customer solutions leveraging both internal and external resources.
• Oversee individual and team performance while nurturing organizational talent.
• Direct sales strategy, cost optimization, pipeline assessments, asset management, and demo sales success.
• Propel business growth and metrics, including revenue, gross margin, market penetration, installed-base retention, cost management, customer satisfaction, and workforce analytics.
• Coordinate company sales initiatives while establishing organizational quotas and objectives.
• Formulate tactics for generating new sales and support go-to-market and sales/marketing efforts.
• Enhance sales coverage utilizing both direct and partner resources.
• Develop qualified sales talent pipelines and manage intricate organizational structures.
• Foster consultative customer relationships and guide teams on critical account opportunities.
• Formulate long-term growth strategies and guide customer application of technology to address new business challenges.
• Develop and implement consultative solution-selling skills and compelling business cases.
• Provide business justification and risk assessments for company investments.
• Offer external leadership in industry, community, and media engagements.
• Ensure comprehensive selling support while managing talent, growth strategies, and field selling expenses.
• A university or bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• An advanced university or Master's degree is preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in various sales roles, regions, or business models.
• Proven track record of achieving planned financial outcomes at the region/area, business segment, or industry level.
• Experience as a sales executive in a global firm with accountability for sales results and operational effectiveness.
• Background in managing large deals that involve multiple solution components and partners.
• Expertise in strategic sales planning and execution.
• Proficiency in budget management and cost optimization.
• Experience in P&L management.
• Knowledge of vertical industry trends.
• Skills in workforce planning.
• Ability to manage execution effectively.
