This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on NY Medicaid billing and enrollment processes, including support for claim resolution.
β’ Deliver technical training to NY Medicaid providers regarding eMedNY billing, enrollment, and program standards.
β’ Engage with the NY Medicaid provider community concerning system and program updates.
β’ Facilitate face-to-face interactions, phone consultations, group training, seminars, and webinars.
β’ Offer internal feedback on provider issues and market trends.
β’ Create training and content materials as required.
β’ Present information during provider association meetings.
β’ Provide testimony in legal proceedings related to Medicaid fraud.
β’ Travel quarterly or annually to Albany, NY for meetings and conferences.
β’ Execute other duties as needed.
β’ Represent GDIT to both external and internal customers regarding inquiries related to Medicaid claims and billing.
β’ Assist and resolve issues for providers and stakeholders.
β’ Address non-routine customer inquiries via calls, emails, and web submissions as a primary point of contact.
β’ BA/BS degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience, or equivalent qualifications.
β’ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
β’ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
β’ A solid work ethic and adaptability.
β’ Quick learner with the ability to assimilate new information.
β’ Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
β’ Must reside in one of the New York City boroughs: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island, NY.
β’ Preferably possess healthcare billing and claims experience.
β’ Teaching or training experience is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Zoom and Microsoft Teams is advantageous.
β’ U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.
β’ Willingness to travel 10β25% of the time.
