This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and development for Inside Sales Representatives and other operational team members.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and enhance associate productivity through well-structured training and development initiatives.
• Promote the adoption and effective use of ERP and operational technology platforms.
• Collaborate with branch and regional leadership to pinpoint training opportunities and address knowledge or process deficiencies.
• Aid in training related to warehouse operations and reinforce best practices in operations.
• Conduct visits to branches to observe workflows, offer coaching, and suggest process enhancements.
• Lead classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions.
• Support change management and implementation efforts concerning operational processes, systems, and organizational programs.
• Work alongside the Learning & Organizational Development team to ensure regional training aligns with enterprise learning strategies.
• Monitor training progress, identify developmental needs, and provide feedback to regional leadership concerning performance and operational efficiency.
• Report directly to Regional Leadership, with a dotted-line relationship to the Learning & Organizational Development team.
• Travel overnight typically 30–75% of the time.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Core & Main, preferably in a sales-focused or supporting role.
• Capability to analyze performance data to pinpoint gaps and drive improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms (Teams/SharePoint).
• Ability to recognize potential issues and devise effective solutions independently.
• Skills to manage deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and trainees.
• Must possess the ability to motivate and hold groups of individuals accountable.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a comparable combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Experience in learning & development, sales enablement, branch operations, talent development, or a similar training role is preferred.
• Proven experience in facilitating training and coaching others (both live and virtual) with measurable performance outcomes is preferred.
• Background in supporting structured sales trainee, management trainee, or leadership development programs is preferred.
• Experience coaching sales leaders/trainees through observation, call/meeting reviews, and skills assessments is preferred.
• Familiarity with instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE) and adult learning theory is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Mincron or D365) is preferred.
