Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional, consistent, and quality-focused training sessions in the classroom for new employees.

• Lead computer-based training initiatives and classroom presentations as part of the 2 Day NETP Class.

• Conduct Welcome, New Employee Orientation, Safety training, Excellence in Customer Service sessions, and Techniques of Alcohol Management training.

• Administer and monitor TAM 01 training for employees biannually or as mandated by policy.

• Oversee and track TAM 02 training for Store Managers in designated regions.

• Collaborate with the Training Store Manager to ensure a comprehensive hands-on training experience.

• Verify, schedule, and monitor new hires using Workday.

• Handle new-hire documentation, confirm identification for I-9 compliance, and process Social Security numbers via E-Verify.

• Manage uniform inventory, confirm orders, and update the uniform tracking spreadsheet.

• Evaluate prospective candidates and communicate updates or concerns to management.

• Distribute uniforms, nametags, and In Store Training Passports to trainees.

• Ensure a tidy training environment.

• Adhere to state, federal, and company regulations.

• Complete additional tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma is mandatory.

• 3–5 years of experience in retail and/or training.

• Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent analytical and leadership abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks with a strong focus on detail.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain a positive team spirit and professional attitude.

• Self-driven with the capability to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.

• Reliable transportation to cover other training locations during vacations or as necessary.

• Ability to adhere to state, federal, and company regulations.

• Capability to sit, talk, and/or hear on a regular basis.

• Ability to use hands for handling or grasping items.

• Capability to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms occasionally.

• Ability to lift items weighing between 5–10 lbs on occasion.
