Principal Consultant – HCM Training Developer, Instructional Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform training needs assessments for agency transitions.

• Create role-specific training curricula and learning pathways for Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

• Develop e-learning modules utilizing SCORM/xAPI with various authoring tools.

• Produce materials for instructor-led training, including facilitator guides, workbooks, labs, and presentation slides.

• Design and implement train-the-trainer initiatives.

• Generate job aids, quick reference guides, and contextual assistance content.

• Oversee the setup and upkeep of training environments.

• Create assessments to evaluate training effectiveness based on the Kirkpatrick model.

• Manage logistics for training, including scheduling, enrollment, delivery platforms, and tracking of completions.

• Revise training materials for quarterly updates, configuration modifications, and feedback from agencies.

• Collaborate with the OCM team on training timelines and communication strategies.

• Assess intricate challenges and provide independent recommendations for solutions.

• Guide junior staff and lead collaborative projects across functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of pertinent experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.

• Over 7 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or delivery for enterprise software solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience in creating and developing end-user training for enterprise ERP, HCM, or cloud-based applications.

• Proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate and familiar with SCORM/xAPI standards.

• Experience in crafting role-specific training curricula that incorporate instructor-led, e-learning, and blended delivery methods.

• Capability to simplify complex enterprise software features into clear, accessible training materials.

• Background in training needs assessment, curriculum development, and evaluation of training effectiveness.

• Excellent writing skills with experience in creating training documentation, job aids, and reference materials.

• Must be eligible for and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• US Citizenship is required.
